Roland is a blog-aware, static website generator written in Swift that compiles its templates using PHP and CommonMark.
The developer’s goals for Roland are:
- One command to run against a folder of web assets and build a website – just like Jekyll.
- Fast enough to be useable during a typical edit → compile → test workflow session.
- Clear separation between the Swift business logic that dictates the site’s structure and the layout
- of the HTML.
- A flexible templating system.
Roland is free and open source software.
