RAWGraphs – web-based tool for data visualization

RAWGraphs is a data visualization framework built with the goal of making the visual representation of complex data easy.

Primarily conceived as a tool for designers and vis geeks, RAWGraphs aims at providing a missing link between spreadsheet applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Apple Numbers, OpenRefine) and vector graphics editors (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, Figma).

The software can run locally on your machine.

This is free and open source software.

Features include:

• Almost 30 visual models to visualize quantities, hierarchies, time series and find insights in your data.
• Highly customizable and extensible, accepting new custom layouts defined by users.
• Works with tabular data (e.g., spreadsheets and comma-separated values) as well as with copied-and-pasted texts from other applications.
• Data entered is processed only by your web browser. No server-side operations or storages are performed
• Save your project, or export it as vector or raster image. Edit it within your favourite softwares.
• Cross-platform support.
