NeOS (Next Evolution Operating System) is an Arch Linux-based desktop distribution designed to combine Arch’s rolling software base with a more controlled update process.
The distribution uses KDE Plasma 6 and provides a desktop configured to be familiar to people moving from Windows. Dolphin, Konsole, KDE System Settings and Discover form part of the desktop environment. Pacman remains the underlying package manager, while KDE Discover provides a graphical route to software management.
