GtkGuitune – tune guitars and other instruments

GtkGuitune is software for tuning guitars and other instruments by using the method of Schmitt-triggering.

GtkGuitune is actually an oscilloscope which counts the passes between two trigger levels per time, calculates the frequency and shows the tone on a tone-scale.

It is released under an open source license.

Features include:

  • 16 bit sampling for better accuracy with low signals.
