Eukleides – geometry drawing language

Eukleides is a language which allows one to typeset geometric figures within a (La)TeX document. It aims to be a fairly comprehensive system to create geometric figures, either static or dynamic. It allows to handle basic types of data: numbers and strings, as well as geometric types of data: points, vectors, sets (of points), lines, circles, and conics.

This package includes scripts to convert these figures into EPS and other formats. Eukleides uses a console interface. A separate package, xeukleides, offers a gtk-based graphical interface.

• Two intrepreters:
  • Eukleides – produces Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) and animated GIFs.
  • Euktopst – produces PSTricks macros, to include Eukleides figures into LaTeX documents.
• Full featured programming language, providing conditional and iterative structures, user defined functions, modules.
