Gnote is a free and open-source desktop note-taking application. It uses a Wiki-like linking system to connect notes together.
Gnote is a port of Tomboy to C++. It was created to remove the dependency on Mono. Gnote development continues with the same initial ideas and mostly has the same functionality. However it moved forward for the sake of better integration with modern GNOME desktop environment.
