FrogCMS – simplifies content management

Frog CMS is an open source content management system. It was originally known as phpRadiant.

Frog CMS simplifies content management by offering an elegant user interface, flexible templating per page, simple user management and permissions, as well as the tools necessary for file management.

Frog CMS began as migration of Radiant CMS from Ruby-on-Rails to PHP.

Features include:

• Unlimited hierarchically structured page navigation menu.
• Drag and drop page ordering.
• Flexible page content: body, sidebar, extended, summary.
• Per page layout customization.
• Simple and reusable content snippets.
• Password protected administration.
• Simple user and permission management.
• Lightweight core with many functions available as “plugins”, including file-management, comment forms, Textile and Markdown support, and database connectivity via PDO (required for use with SQLite); user-contributed plugins include the TinyMCE and FCKeditor wysiwyg editors, gallery, and lightbox-style image display.
• UTF8 encoding, with i18n modules currently available for Bengali (Bangla), Chinese, Czech, Dutch, French, German, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Polish, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish.
• Uses Extra Light PHP Framework.
