JStock is a desktop application for tracking stock investments and managing portfolios. It combines market watchlists, portfolio records, charts and technical indicators in an interface intended for individual investors.
The software supports watchlists covering stock exchanges in multiple countries. Users can organise securities into separate lists, examine historical prices and maintain records of their investments, including purchases, sales, dividends and cash transactions.
JStock also provides tools for creating and scanning stock indicators, along with notifications when selected conditions are met. Its market-data functionality depends on external financial services, and users have reported difficulties retrieving current prices. Some older integrations may no longer work as originally intended.
This is free and open source software.
