SmartList - mailing list manager

SmartList is an open source mailing list manager, which is built on top of Procmail, and is maintained by the Procmail developers.

SmartList is used by some large software projects to maintain their mailing lists, including the Debian Project.

Features include:

Simple creation and handling of mailing lists.
Fully automated subscription/unsubscription/help-request processing.
Intelligent autoremoval of addresses from the list that cause too many bounces.
Built in archive server (with MIME support).
Intelligence to overcome the ignorance of some subscribers.
No hardwired format for (un)subscribe requests.
Duplicate submissions are eliminated automatically.
You can set up a mailing list to function as a standalone mail archive server.
Support for List-* header fields.
Extended MIME support (autorecognition, encapsulation and suitable encoding of well known (and unknown) file formats).
Allows for remote maintenance of any mailing list by a list maintainer.
Integrated archiving service.
Integrated diagnostic aid to give hints to the maintainer about possible problems.
Moderated mailinglists with an arbitrary number of moderators.
