Poddr – podcast client built with Electron and Angular

Last Updated on September 1, 2020

Summary

Poddr is a cross-platform podcast player that offers a lot. It sports a very user-friendly interface that really is easy to navigate. It certainly isn’t feature-laden but all the essential functionality needed for a self-respected podcast player is implemented. There’s lots of things I’d like to see implemented such as playlists, queue functionality, the option to download podcasts, as well as exporting and importing favorites to OPML.

There’s good desktop integration, and by using iTunes API, you’ve got a huge podcast library at your fingertips.

Poddr is definitely worth a download. Go on, try the project’s AppImage or snap!
