omping – test IPv4/IPv6 multicast connectivity on a LAN

Omping (Open Multicast Ping) is tool to test IP multicast functionality primarily in local network. Written in C.

alive is a package that provides a command-line program to periodically make network contact with (aka “ping”) a specified host.

fping is a program to send ICMP echo probes to network hosts, similar to ping, but much better performing when pinging multiple hosts.

tcping is a terminal based network tool which is similar to ping. It can provide ASCII reports.

BWPing measures bandwidth and response times between two hosts using ICMP echo request/echo reply mechanism.

SmokePing is a latency measurement tool. It can measure, store and display latency, latency distribution and packet loss.

cnping is a minimal graphical IPV4 Ping/HTTP Ping Tool. It uses rawdraw so it is OS independent.

pingtop is a command-line tool to ping multiple servers and show the result in a top like terminal UI. MIT license.

gping is an implementation of ping with graphing of results. It’s written in the Rust programming language. MIT license.
