Summary

You-Get is a useful command-line tool that’s useful for accessing YouTube and other sites when a web browser is not convenient.

You-Get has attracted over 30,000 GitHub stars. It’s a very popular tool. Its main competitor is youtube-dl which is also command-line software to download videos from YouTube and other video sites. youtube-dl has even more GitHub stars, with nearly 62,000 stars when I last checked.
