wmweather+ will download the National Weather Serivce METAR bulletins; AVN, ETA, and MRF forecasts; and any weather map for display in a WindowMaker dockapp.
wmweather+ downloads current conditions, forecast data, and optionally a radar image. It will also watch for various warnings and display them using an external command.
Think wmweather with a smaller font, forecasts, a weather map, and a sky condition display.
Key Features
- 3 display modes:
- Current conditions – displays the current conditions as given in the METAR report for the selected station.
- Forecasts – displays the current conditions as given in the AVN, ETA, and MRF data for the selected stations.
- Radar map – downloads a radar image every 30 minutes from the specified URI.
- Various weather warnings, watches, and statements for the specified zone.
- Animation.
