imagineer offers image processing and conversion

imagineer (formerly sic (sic image cli)) is a command-line tool and image crate to convert images and perform image operations.

It allows you to manipulate images using image operations and convert images between various formats. Both static and animated images are supported.

This is free and open source software.

Key Features

  • Batch processing.
  • Image manipulations with a wide range of operations including blur, brighten, crop, diff, draw-text, flip horizontally, flip vertically, invert, overlay, resize, and more.
  • Decode the following image formats: AVIF, BMP, GIF, DDS, Farbfeld, ICO, JPEG, OpenExr, PNG, PAM, PBM, PGM, PPM, TGA, TIFF, and WebP.
  • Encode images into the following formats: AVIF, BMP, Farbfeld, GIF, ICO, JPEG, OpenExr, PNG, PNM (PAM, PBM, PGM and PPM), QOI TGA, TIFF, and WebP.
