Quassel IRC – distributed IRC client

Quassel IRC is a modern, cross-platform, distributed Internet Relay Chat (IRC) client based on the Qt5 framework.

It has the unique ability to split the graphical component (quasselclient) from the part that handles the IRC connection (quasselcore). This means that users can have a remote core permanently connected to one or more IRC networks and attach a client from wherever they are without moving around any information or settings.

Quassel IRC stores the backlog into an SQLite database. The database uses 64 bit message IDs and timestamps.
