LiveUSB Install is an open source utility that enables users to effortlessly install various Linux distributions on a thumbdrive. They can be installed from ISO, CD/DD, internet or IMG file to USB flash drive.
This way, you can always carry your favourite distro in your pocket – on your bootable thumb drive!
LiveUSB Install is written in Python.
Features include:
- Supports 139 distributions with 1134 versions
- Automatically download distributions from Internet – no need to download the ISO image beforehand
- Multi-platform support
- Create “persistent” installs of Ubuntu and Debian-based distributions (so your documents are not lost after you reboot the thumb drive)
- Format flash drives bigger than 32GB
