Funkwhale – listen and share music and audio

Funkwhale is a web based audio server. It’s a community-driven project that lets you listen and share music and audio within a decentralized, open network.

Funkwhale consists of many independent pods which can communicate together using standard, free and open source technology.

Instances can be federated via the ActivityPub protocol.

Funkwhale requires a reverse proxy, so nginx or Apache HTTP Server need to be installed. It also needs a configured PostgreSQL database and a Redis cache server.

This is free and open source software.
