BrouwHulp (translation: BrewBuddy) is your fully functional brewing solution for home brewers and micro breweries.

You can create your recipes, manage your stock, manage your brewing session and calculate all the things you need for a successful brew. Brewing your own beer has never been easier with BrewBuddy.

Currently the BrewBuddy software is in Dutch only.

Features include:

  • Customizable databases of fermentable ingredients, hops, yeast, other ingredients, water, mashing schedules, brewing installations and beer styles.
  • Recipes and brews. You can copy recipes to brews and vice versa.
  • Import of BeerXML and Promash recipe files.
  • Export to BeerXML / BrouwHulp XML files.
  • Export to clipboard as a forum table.
  • Export to clipboard as html table.
  • Synchronization of databases to another location (including ftp site).
  • Print log form and print log form.
  • Comparison of recipe parameters with parameters of the chosen beer style.
  • Import fermentable ingredients by weight or as a percentage of the landfill.
  • Import of hops by weight or as a bitterness contribution.
  • Automatic calculation of hop aging.
  • Increase and decrease of bitterness by entering an IBU value, after which hop quantities are adjusted.
  • Direct adjustment of amounts, percentages of fermentable ingredients and bitterness contribution of the hops in the ingredient list.
  • Design water profile, automatically and manually.
  • Estimate pH of the batter based on wort color, water profile and additions of lactic acid and brewing salts.

  • Print checklist for the brewing day.
  • Sort brews by order number / code and name, by beer style and by brewing year and month.
  • Sorting recipes by order number / code and name and by beer style.
  • Setting options for, for example, database location, bitterness and color calculation method.
  • Conversion SG to Plato and Brix degrees and vice versa, both before and during and after fermentation.
  • Refractometer calculations.
  • Hydrometer temperature correction.
  • SG calculations when adding water and sugar.
  • Separate packing input for bottles and casks.
  • Calculate the amount of bottled sugar to be added.
  • Calculate required pressure for forced carbonization of kegs.
  • Print overview of brews between two dates or between two sequence numbers / codes.
  • Import your own brewery logo, which is then printed on all forms to be printed.
  • The Cloud: recipes in XML or Promash format that are placed with messages on the Hobbybrewing forum, automatically end up in the cloud. You can view these recipes and copy them to your own database
  • You can choose to see the extract as SG or as degrees Plato.
  • Create analysis graphs (XY graphs and histograms) of your brews. The XY graphs represent the best linear, polynomial, power or exponential fit.
  • Make analyzes with neural networks. The predictions that the neural network makes are then reflected in your brews.
  • Graphs of properties of ingredients.
