Bonita BPM is a business process management platform for designing, executing and managing business workflows. It brings together process modelling, workflow execution and application development, allowing organisations to coordinate activities involving people and information systems.
The platform is built around several components. Bonita Studio provides a graphical environment for designing processes, while Bonita Runtime executes those processes and manages their state. Additional components support application interfaces and integration with external systems.
Bonita is designed for workflows that combine automated operations with human participation. Processes can include approval steps, business data and connections to external services, allowing applications to manage complex activities across departments.
