$ phoronix-test-suite benchmark ramspeed
RAMspeed tests the system memory (RAM) performance.
Both the top two ranked machines have 5600MHz DDR5 RAM, so I’m frankly at a loss why the Minisforum AI X1 Pro (with its ADATA RAM) has such a massive advantage in this benchmark.
Both the 12th gen and the Intel NUC (i7-1360P) have DDR4 RAM clocked at 3200MHz. The 10th gen desktop machine has slower DDR4 RAM (2666MHz). All machines have paired RAM with the exception of the N100.
$ phoronix-test-suite benchmark tinymembench
This benchmark also tests the system memory (RAM) performance. memcpy()
copies from one place to another. memset()
just sets all pieces of memory to the same value.
A curious set of results here.
Let’s now take benchmark the NVMe provided with the Minisforum AI X1 Pro.
