Aptana Studio is an open source integrated development environment (IDE) for developing and testing your entire web application using a single environment. Aptana Studio 3 expands on the core capabilities of Aptana Studio 2 for building, editing, previewing and debugging HTML, CSS and JavaScript websites with PHP and Ruby on Rails web development.
Based on Eclipse, it has support for the latest browser technology specs such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Ruby, Rails, PHP and Python.
It features code-completion, outlining, JavaScript debugging, error and warning notifications and integrated documentation. Additional plugins allow Aptana Studio to support Ruby on Rails, PHP, Python, Perl, Adobe AIR, Apple iPhone and Nokia WRT (Web Runtime).
Aptana Studio is available as a standalone on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, or as a plugin for Eclipse.
