Volla Phone Quintus running Ubuntu Touch: Pre-installed apps

Calendar

The calendar app is more interesting than the calculator app. The tab at the top shows the calendar by Agenda, Day, Week, Month or Year.

It’s simple to add new events. A long press reveals the New Event window where you can set the start and end of a new event, mark it as an all day event, give it a name, with optional description and location. There’s also the ability to add repeats and reminders.

The apps lets you import events, and export a calendar, as well as the ability to add online accounts (Google, ownCloud, Nextcloud, or a Generic CalDAV). CalDAV (Calendar Distributed Authoring and Versioning) is an Internet standard protocol that allows users to access, manage, and share calendar data, including events and tasks, over the internet using the iCalendar format.

There are some customization options including the option to show week numbers, display Chinese calendar, define business hours, set the default reminder period, and default event of new event. We can also choose between the system theme, SunDark theme, or the Ambiance theme.
