System

I’m not going to explore each of the available settings here. You’ll notice some of the entries are greyed out including NeoFetch. In this case, it’s because my system doesn’t have Neofetch installed.
Neofetch is a command-line interface system information script. The script displays information about your system next to an image, your operating system logo, or any ASCII/image file of your choice. It’s designed to capture information about your system and display it in an aesthetic and visually pleasing way.
There’s an entry for Raspi Recommended Software. It’s a pretty scant list. In my upcoming Software articles, I’ll be recommending a much wider range of software that run great on the Pi 5.
Some of the entries here are not targeted at beginners. For example, editing config.txt and cron job. And many of the entries you can access simply from the menu system so they are pretty redundant.
