41. Lilypad Top Bar Manager

Lilypad is a useful extension to organize, hide, and reorder app indicators in the GNOME top bar.

42a. Dash to Panel

We prefer Dash to Dock, but Dash to Panel is also very popular. This extension moves the dash into the gnome main panel so that the application launchers and system tray are combined into a single panel, similar to that found in KDE Plasma and Windows 7+

42b. Tiling Shell

Tiling Shell lets you extend the Gnome Shell with advanced tiling window management. It supports multiple monitors, Windows 11 Snap Assistant, Fancy Zones, customised tiling layouts and more.

Naturally, there are lots of other extensions available which may meet your specific needs. And there are lots of GNOME extensions which aren’t compatible with GNOME 47. Examples we previously used include Section Todo List, Mpris Indicator Button, Screenshot Tool, Internet Radio, you2ber, and Timezone.
