emesene is an open source instant messaging client, and is a “clone” of Windows Live Messenger.
Its goal is to replicate the functions of the official Windows Live client in simpler, cleaner and easier to use interface.
There are a variety of GUI themes available including MBISM, Live theme, and MSN theme.
The program is written using Python and GTK+.
