BOSGAME M4 Plus

BOSGAME M4 Plus Mini PC running Linux: Power Consumption

I’m using s-tui to stress the CPU. It provides a convenient frontend to the stress utility.

BOSGAME M4 Plus Power Consumption

Obviously the N100 consumes the fewest watts under full load, but it’s a snail compared to the other machines.

I repeat the chart but this time the BOSGAME machine (as well as the Minisforum machine) has the power limit mode set to Performance Mode.

BOSGAME M4 Plus Power Consumption

The maximum power consumption drawn when all system components are stressed is considerably higher for all machines.

I’ve got the Minisforum AI X1 Pro. I bought it after reading the series on this site. It’s an awesome mini PC. I’ve got 3 Crucial 4TB NVMe SSDs in it and 128GB of RAM.

The MediaTek Wi-Fi isn’t the finest so I replaced that. It’s now amazing in every respect.
