KMPlayer is a basic audio/video viewer application for KDE, and a video player plugin for the Konqueror web browser.
You can use this software for watching all the movie file formats that MPlayer, xine or GStreamer support, as well as watching from DVD, VCD or TV and camera.
The application window consists of dockable windows. There is always the central view window available.
The KMPlayer KPart plugin for Konqueror mimics QuickTime, MS Media Player and RealPlayer plugin browser plugins.
It can also embed inside khtml, enabling movie playback inside an HTML page.
