Graphics

The Air Plus’s iGPU is the AMD Radeon 660M, a mobile integrated graphics solution (iGPU) based on the 6nm RDNA2 architecture, launched in early 2022. It features 6 compute units (384 shaders) and is typically found in entry-level Ryzen 6000 series laptop processors.

The Air Plus’s 63 frames per second might appear good but 800×600 is a pitifully low resolution that no gamer is going to be happy with. I re-ran the benchmark at a more respectable 1920×1080 resolution.

The Chuwi laptop is definitely not suitable for anything other than extremely light gaming, or if you are prepared to use low settings.

I also ran glmark2, an OpenGL 2.0 and ES 2.0 benchmark on the laptop. Here are the results. The laptop was using Wayland (not X11).

The Air Plus’s score of 12812 is a good result. For example, the HP ProBook 440 G8 scored only 8022 on this benchmark.
