The M6 was shipped with a Kingston NAND (QLC) 1TB NVMe PCIe Gen 4 M.2 which has an advertised maximum read speed of 6,100 MB/s and a maximum write speed of 5,300 MB/s write.
Here are the results with KDiskMark, benchmark software for NVMe and other hard drives. It’s an open source GUI tool which calls Flexible I/O Tester.

The results are actually better than the Minisforum AI X1 Pro scores even though the M6 and that machine have the same Kingston NVMe.
In the next article in the series I’ll see how the M6 fares from a power consumption perspective.
Summary
The M6’s benchmarks are very impressive. When you take both performance and price into account, the BOSGAME M6 offers the best value for money out of all the machines in this roundup.
