Aiffro K100 All-SSD NAS running Linux: Power Consumption

Power Consumption with CPU Stressed

I’m using s-tui to stress the CPU, which in turn uses the stress tool.

s-tui in action

I can stress the CPU by changing the mode from monitor to stress. Here are the results for each machine.

Power Consumption chart

As the chart illustrates, the Aiffro K100’s power consumption is comparable with the N95 mini PC even though it has more NVMes.  Bear in mind both the mini PCs with the i7-1360P and the Ultra 7 255H processors are much faster than the K100’s N100 (and much more expensive).

Power usage figures are higher if other system components (GPU, disk etc) are also stressed. The chart reflects power consumption stressing the CPU only.
