Yakforms is software that allows you to host a full-fledged online form service.
Edit and publish forms easily, collect and analyze submissions online. It is designed to be an alternative to Google Forms, and you’ll be able to set up your form quickly and easily, get answers from the people you shared it with, and collect and download the submissions.
This is free and open source software. Yakforms is based on Drupal 7 and makes extensive use of the Webform and Form Builder modules, amongst others.
Yakforms defines the following items for the website :
- A new node type : « form » or form1 (machine-name) nodes are publicly-accessible nodes that any authenticated user can create and configure. A webform is attached to each of node.
- Blocks and menu links for user navigation.
- Default pages.
- Cron tasks for limited-lifetime nodes : to avoid piling up useless data forever, forms expire after a few months by default. (This feature can be deactivated by the admin if necessary).
- A central administration menu to manage most of the website’s parameters.
