We feed you no chit-chat news about Ubuntu and free software.

Show

As they say, the Full Circle Weekly News is an extremely short podcast with just the news. There’s no chit-chat, no waffle. There’s snippets of Linux / Ubuntu news, and that’s it. The show notes almost take as long to read as the podcast itself.

It’s produced by the independent magazine for the Ubuntu Linux community. The magazine focuses on product reviews, community news, how-to articles, programming and troubleshooting tips.

The magazine used to produce a fairly good Linux podcast (Full Circle Podcast) with each episode covering a roundup of what the presenters have been doing, Ubuntu news, a round up of the latest issue of the magazine, interviews, events, reviews and feedback from listeners. But sadly that show podfaded back in 2014.

Verdict:If you're extremely tight on time each week, this podcast might be for you. But there are much better ways of keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in the world of Linux and open source. The script is read in a robotic way, if only because intonation is in short supply. There's really very little else to say here.
