Opium is a Sinatra like web framework for OCaml.
The toolkit is based on http/af (a A high performance, memory efficient, and scalable web server) and lwt (a concurrent programming library for OCaml).
Opium is free and open source software.
It is designed to be:
- Very small and easily learnable. A programmer should be instantly productive when starting out.
- Extensible using independently developed plugins. This is a Rack inspired mechanism borrowed from Ruby. The middleware mechanism in Opium is called Rock.
