    PLAC is a business card sized bootable cdrom running linux. It has network auditing, disk recovery, and forensic analysis tools.
  • PLD RescueCD
    PLD RescueCD is a bootable disk that contains a live Linux distribution based on PLD Linux (2.4.27rc1 modular kernel) made in Poland. Furthermore this version uses transparent compression (squashfs) to fit about 130 MB of software onto a single mini CD 50 MB in usable form. PLD RescueCD can be used to rescue ailing machines, perform intrusion post-mortems, act as a temporary secure linux-based workstation (using ssh, vpn connecting to remote host - other networking clients are also supported), install PLD Linux, and perform many other tasks.
  • PLoP Linux
    PLoP Linux is designed to rescue data and systems . Features include: Booting from usb, cdrom or dvd , size of 40mb m SCSI, SATA and RAID support , a linux antivirus for windows files , and limited NTFS write.
  • Redo Backup and Recovery
    Redo Backup and Recovery is an easy rescue system with GUI tools for full system backup, bare metal recovery, partition editing, recovering deleted files, data protection, web browsing, and more. Uses partclone (like Clonezilla) with a UI like Ghost or Acronis. It runs from CD/USB.

    Rescatux is a rescue CD (and eventually also Windows) but it is not like other rescue disks. Rescatux comes with Rescapp. Rescapp is a nice wizard that will guide you through your rescue tasks.

    A modified Knoppix (3.6) for use as a computer forensic imaging and previewing tool. It offers console and desktop mode, for imaging and previewing respectively.
