  • ePerl
    interprets an ASCII file bristled with Perl 5 program statements by evaluating the Perl 5 code while passing through the plain ASCII data
  • execline
    execline is a scripting language, like sh ; but its syntax is quite different from a traditional shell syntax. The execline program is meant to be used as an interpreter for a text file; the other commands are essentially useful inside an execline script.

  • Lua Filesystem Extension Library
    This extension library provides the filesystem primitives to your Lua scripts, which are missing from the core language. The exported primitives include mkdir, rmdir, stat, chown, chmod, and more.
  • Luban
    a component oriented scripting language. It was created to be easier than Java and to feature namespaces and interfaces
  • Minnow Programming Language
    Minnow is a concurrent programming language with a Ruby-like syntax. It compiles to an executable and uses a companion library to allow fully-rebalanced microthreads. Minnow gains a lot of strength from its actor model, which uses message passing, as opposed to threads and locking, as its concurrency model.

    Python Hypertext Preprocessor: allows use of the Python programming language in scripts similar to PHP. PyHP uses the Python 2.0 language to parse elements embedded in an HTML page

    From Japan: Free, open-source, interpreted, object-oriented, scripting language for quick and easy object-oriented programming. Much like Python.
  • Ruby/AWS
