    Chordpack is a tool written in Perl, whose purpose is to typeset song-books/songs written in chordpro format. The typesetting is done through typesetting system TeX using macro package LaTeX.

It is highly customizable to suit a lot of possible instruments (not only 6-stringed guitars, and even not only guitars), including drum tracks, lyrics, and other MIDI events.
  • pyFretCalc
    pyFretCalc is a handy little fret spacing calculator for luthiers (Guitar makers). Simply enter the scale length you want and how many frets, then click on calculate.
  • Rakarrack Guitar Effects
    Rakarrack is a guitar effects processor for GNU / Linux simple and easy to use. It contains 10 effects: Linear Equalizer, Parametric Equalizer, Compressor, Distorsion, Overdrive, Echo, Chorus, Phaser, Flanger and Reverb. It integrates a tuner and a MIDI converter (experimental). It can also be handled by an external MIDI controller. The settings designed by the user can be stored in presets and these presets can be used to create banks of effects.
  • StompBoxes
    StompBoxes is a real-time audio effects processor designed for guitar under Linux. It is written in C using gtk+ for the graphical user interface. The sound is processed in 16 bit at a rate of 44100Hz.
  • wxGuitar
    wxGuitar is a simple program to help novice guitarist faster (and better) to tune your guitar.
