Birmingham Apple Core The Birmingham Apple Core is dedicated to the education and assistance of its members in the use of Macintosh computers and related products. HMUG The Huntsville Macintosh Users Group evolved from a special interest group (SIG) within the local Apple users group. Started in 1989, at first the group was called the Mac Lisa Users Group. HMUG holds its meetings in Huntsville, Alabama, and serves the Northern Alabama and Southern Middle Tennessee region. MacInSteins MUG The MacInsSteins Macintosh User Group is a friendly, informal association of people who enjoy helping each other get more out of their Apple Macintosh computers and Mac OS computing. University Macintosh User's Group The Office of the Vice President for Information Technology has created an Apple/Macintosh user's group called University Macintosh Users Group, or UMUG for short. All UAB faculty, staff, and students and hospital folks (i.e. uab.edu e-mail address) are welcome to join the LISTSERV and/or attend the brown-bag "Lunch and Learn" meetings.
