    2XMark 2006 is a benchmarking tool for the GP2X that measures arithmetic speed (fixed and floating point) and OGG Vorbis audio decoding speed
  • 2Xword
    2XWord is a utility to help solve crosswords, word puzzles etc.
  • Crap Adventure Construction Kit
    CACK is (or will be) a constuction kit for crap little adventure games. Think Dizzy style gameplay (pick up object, use object etc) with Zelda style top down view.
  • Energy Saver
    GP2X EnergySaver is a utility for the GP2X handheld which gives an energy saver feature. Once activated, the utility launches a background process (with minimal CPU consumption) that, at established time intervals, if no button is pressed, and TV-Out is disabled, sound volume is turned off, puts the CPU Speed to a minimun and turns off the LCD Screen.
  • Exexfi
    Exexfi is a small graphical sd explorer and file manager. It lets you organise your files by deleting, renaming, moving files. It can run programs at a different CPU speed, and has skin support.
  • GP2X TV-Out Fixer
    GP2X TV-Out Fixer is a utility that allows some applications to run on TV-out that are not coded to do so.
  • GP2Xpdf
    GP2Xpdf is a fast PDF reader for the GP2X based upon xpdf. It features rationalised buttons and menu to fit in the display of the GP2X, zoom and scroll buttons with more zoom levels.
  • JoyTest
    JoyTest lets you test directly on the gp2x the different joystick configurations suggested by DaveC.
  • Package Manager
    GP2X Package Manager can be used to install packages for your favourite programs with no user intervention. Currently, you can only install individual packages (*.deb files), however future versions will hopefully include a more sophisticated GUI for removal of packages and an online download system, like apt.

    Silence replaces the startup tune with silence.
