  • AutoScan
    AutoScan is a GNOME application designed to explore and to manage your network. Entire subnets can be scanned simultaneously without human intervention. It features OS detection, automatic network discovery, a port scanner, and the ability to save the network state.
  • EHNT
    The purpose of this EHNT (pronounced 'ent') is to get some useful information from netflow (version 5 only) without too much trouble. The typical EHNT user is a network administrator operating routers capable of exporting netflow packets.

    Mowie is an interactive, graphical version of the netstat command. Mowie aims to do all sorts of things to open network connections.

    nProbe is a Netflow V5 probe characterized by portability to Unix and Windows environments, a small memory footprint (less than 2MB of memory regardless of the size of the network), and low CPU usage.

    rstatus is a package containing rwho, ruptime and rwhod.

    Social Networks Visualiser is a GNU program which intends to help anyone, using Linux OS, to visualise graphically and play with social networks. It has been written in Qt3.
  • The Minder
    The minder is a small network application for automatic maintenance of peer lists. The application accepts connections from other network entities ("minions") and returns a list of other identitical minions.
  • trackpeer
    trackpeer is an agent program that helps network and server administrators with tracking users' computers. It makes it possible to determine the MAC addresses of computers over a network, even when the computers are behind NATed gateways.
  • UntzUntz LAN Scan
    UntzUntz LAN Scan uses 'smbclient' to creating a listing of all files contained within the local area network (that are shared).
  • wmifinfo
    wmifinfo is a simple applet showing basic network info for all available interfaces. It shows IP address, netmask, gateway and MAC address. A bit like ifconfig.
