Jinzora is a web based media streaming and management system.
Streaming your media with Jinzora provides quick and easy access to online music and video collection from any device with a web browser. Jinzora can organise & tag music files and download album covers and reviews. It also allows users to easily stream media, both audio and video from a webserver to virtually any media player that supports streaming.
Jinzora can be integrated into a Content Management System (CMS) site, run as a standalone application, or integrated into any PHP website.
The project include a wide range of add-ons, themes, language packs and even complete servers.
Features include:
- Handles all major audio and video formats, including MP3, Ogg and MPEG.
- Tag MP3’s, download song lyrics, album covers and artist biographies.
- Quick and easy access to your collection from anywhere in the world.
- Intelligently streams digital media to any internet connected device.
- Transcode and resample media to another media format or bitrate:
- All transcoding is done in memory and in real-time.
- On-the-fly resampling downsamples media to a lower sample rate.
- Available as a stand alone application or a module for a Content Management System.
- Jukebox mode which works with three types of players:
- Command line players that are available on the Jinzora server.
- Desktop players on the visiting client.
- Dedicated hardware devices.
- Contains multiple full featured, themeable interfaces.
- Supports different backends, including flat-file storage and several databases.
