I'm looking for a cheap but quality graphics card for Linux. I'm not that bothered too much about 3D importance as there aren't any good 3D games for Linux yet.

Any suggestions would be appreciated Shocked

what?! Unreal Tournament and Descent 3 run great in Linux! Those are 2 of the best games ever made!!

I am using a Geforce 3 Ti200... works great... I also have a Radeon in my laptop, but am having trouble with it...

I would suggest you any Nvidia card... exept geforce 4 MX ... the old ones...

I love Ati and I know they are working on linux drivers, but they are not ready. And somethings are not as great under linux than windows, for example unreal2003 is not working well with ati...

conclusion, try a good old nvidia. if you don't want to play games, go for a geforce 2 mx, cheap and good stuff
