Hi! I'm Linux newbie and learning with training DVDs from UNIX Academy. I installed Fedora Linux 14 and I type commands, from my training, in Fedora.
It may be silly question, but since there are so many different linuxes, do commands from different Linux versions behave in a same way? For example, if I use commands like "mkdir, rmdir, ls, netstat, du, df, chmod, chown" in other Linux implementations (Centos, Debian etc..), will it be the same, or there are differences?

Thanks!
