I'm billie and new to Linux. I have just wiped Windows off my computer and am now dual-booting with Linux Mint Julia and opanArtist o/s's. I want to know if I can download windows fonts and still use them in Abiword, Scribus ,Xara Xtreme,Open Office, etc or do I need to convert them somehow.
P.S. I didn't intend initially to wipe Windows from my laptop, but now it's gone I am getting on fine without it, but there are one or two Windows typefaces I want to use. Appreciate any help as the fonts in question are not cheap.
