Hi all,

I just added simplymepis to my laptop and I need to know how to configure the wireless network to it. I messed around with linux many years ago but forgot a lot of it. I'm messing around with it everyday and learning new tasks. thanks for any help, Gadgetman

Hi again,

I found the wireless network in control center operation mode is set to managed, speed auto and load preset configuration on startup config 1 settings apply to interface I autodetect and wlano came up. wireless network device properties comes up on the boot and the settings are device wlanl, link quality 0% signal strength 0% noise level 0% bit rate 54 mbit/s that's it. still no connection. I will still try and figure this out. thanks for any help. timothy j.

What kind of Hardware...give us some more info on the type of card, drivers if any

We cant awnser or even start to awnser w/o more info..we wouldnt even know where to start
