I recently got a Zaurus 5500 and decided to do a little research and price out a WiFi CF card. I did so and decided on a Netgear MA701. Well I had it and it worked perfectly for about 24 hours.

I wanted to get this post up in case anyone else has had any issues with this card. I will be posting it to multiple boards.

FYI: I used it with the Sharp default ROM, went to OZ 3.1RC3.1 (16-40) (noticed it wasnt acting right), then went to OZ 3.2 (still acted weird), then back to the Sharp Default all to no-avail.

Some of the symptoms I noticed prior to failure:

-Screen went to a diaganol_scrolling_bands look, no video.. like an RFI leak.
-Network config was acting weird, sometimes showing the WiFi status, other times not
-even after 'cardctl reset', etc, etc.. still acted the same
-I noticed physically pressing down (from top) on the left side of the card would
make it react

Anyone else have a similar prob with these? I think I may be SOL on a return as
its a rebate item from http://www.computers4sure.com . I hope I'm not.
I think I will go with a D-LINK DCF-660W next. Any comments on this one?

The last 7digits of the SN on the Netgear MA701 are: C001387

I've seen a few good reports of the Ambicom WL1100C-CF - it's also a very cheap card.
