Last week Everex called its diminutive desktop offering the gPC Mini. Then recently, the Linux distribution it shipped with was updated and took on a form suspiciously similar to an OS utilized by a plucky start-up from Cupertino. We grabbed one of these boxes (re-dubbed the MyMini PC by Everex) plus a newly retooled Mac Mini and took a hard look at the two. It’s true; the carpet and the curtains don’t quite match. Nokia's N810 is the third in its line of Linux powered internet tablets, and the first that has an integrated Qwerty keyboard. Can it replace a bulky laptop in the mobile enterprise world? In its present iteration, it is doubtful.
