Unified communications software outfit has fired a broadside at Microsoft Exchange with the launch of what it claims is the first Linux-based UC software solution to be made available free of charge.
Unison chief marketing officer Rurik Bradbury said: “[Steve Ballmer] said last year that his two greatest challenges are Linux and ad-supported software. This is both of these, fast, powerful, easy-to-use software that is powered by Linux and also sponsor-supported, so it is free to use.”
