GOS: Ubuntu the easy way

We all know that Ubuntu is one of the most popular Linux distributions available today.

Its variants, xubuntu, kubuntu and edubuntu, while not as equally popular, have its own share of the market. There are other Ubuntu-based distributions available but nothing is as simple and elegant as GOS (). The G stands for Google but this has nothing to do with the company except that it uses a whole lot of Google services tightly integrated with the distribution.

GOS is available as a LiveCD so there is no reason for you not to try it out. However, just like Ubuntu, once you have boot it up, you have the option to install it. The installation experience is nothing complicated and if you do not have any Linux experience before, you’d be surprised on how easy this one goes.
