All the elements of the Windows driver package can be found in the new Linux version, including the GigE Vision filter driver, C++ camera API, and the pylon viewer application. The pylon driver for Linux operates with Basler scout and pilot area-scan cameras, as well as the company’s runner series of line-scan cameras. It offers 100% compatibility with the Gen|Cam standard, providing the benefit of a unified C++ camera API for both area-scan and line-scan cameras.
