Google does Linux Desktop

Google has released its native Linux, Google Desktop for Linux.

Like the OS X and Windows versions, the software allows users to search for text inside documents, email messages and Gmail accounts. The Linux version is not yet equipped with the sidebar and gadgets that are available in these other versions, however.
